ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES

Sanders International prepares market assessments, feasibility studies, business plans, investment proposals and policy analyses for alternative energy and environmental projects. As a philosophy, the company believes that all feasible alternatives for saving energy and reducing pressures on the environment should be considered before evaluating the best ways to generate additional energy or offset environmentally damaging activities.

Ed Sanders, President of Sanders International, recently spent six months as a full-time consultant to Global Clean Energy serving as interim Chief Operating Officer and helping position the company to begin trading on the NASDAQ Bulletin Board. He has evaluated a number of other alternative energy projects and did most of the business planning and investor recruitment for a $60 million, 50 Megawatt integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) private power plant in India. The company is especially interested in opportunities for creating industrial synergies from combining several different technologies (e.g., waste-to-energy gasification, biodiesel refining, algae bioreactors, and solar) where waste streams from the various processes can be used as inputs to the others, thereby increasing the overall energy efficiency and profitability of each technology.

Sanders International has also managed several large environmental technology transfer and project development programs, including multi-year, multi-million dollar environmental promotion programs funded by the U.S. Government in Central Europe and South Asia. In the course of administering these programs, the company gained wide experience in a broad array of environmental technologies, including market potential, licensing and project development opportunities, and funding sources and options.
